I had a cheese and chutney toastie in Bristol Small Street Espresso (https://www.smallstreetespresso.co.uk ) turns out it was your Jail ale chutney !! it was sooo yummy, so much so I will make an order (& or come down to your shop in Devon ) , would totally recommend it .

Probably the best chutney in the world! Goes with so many things, cheeses, ham, beef, lamb, pork, pies, ploughman’s, the list is endless!

Really love their chutneys, especially the Beetroot & Horseradish!!!! Which I have been having for a VERY long time.

Superb, Chutney with a great taste and the right amount of heat. I have this with everything.

Having been given a jar of West Country by relatives on their return from a trip to Devon, and found the taste quite amazing, I decided to order more from you, including 4 different varieties.

Obviously, I haven’t eaten all of them yet (but I suspect it won’t take long), but I have to commend you for (a) the quality of the packaging and (b) the speed of completion and delivery of my order. I could hardly believe it when it arrived in less than 36 hours! Awesome.

This is my go-to chutney every time I have a crackers & cheese meal. It’s got such an excellent flavour, it’s sweet - obviously - with pineapple but definitely not overly sweet, with some good depth & spices. It’s delish!

This is a truly delightful chutney with the added benefit of keeping vampires away! After receiving my first jar as a gift this has become an essential additional the household.

I was recently fortunate enough to be gifted a jar of this chutney which I’ve just finished, putting it simply it has been the best chutney I’ve ever tasted and will be replenished very soon.

Having run out of my Mango and Ginger Chutney I kept checking the website to see when it was back in stock. Having no luck I emailed Hogsbottom to enquire when it might be back, Malcolm replied (quickly) to say that although they probably wouldn't be stocking it any more he had checked their stores and found a few jars and to order what I needed, a few days later my order was delivered. Absolutely superb customer service! And this is the best Mango and Ginger Chutney I have ever bought so I really hope that they do consider reintroducing the product soon.
